Running, sliding, crawling, climbing, tricky obstacles and lots of mud – the Budapest Sports Office (BSI) is once again organizing the Brutal Run in Nyáregyháza. As in previous years, there will be more women than men in the muddy adventure field this year, and a quarter of the participants will be under the age of 18. On Saturday, June 14, the BSI’s dirty family event will take place, where fun is the main focus, in addition to exercise.
THE Brutal run It's not a tough test of strength, but a fun, relaxed party atmosphere. Here, everyone can get dirty on a course that resembles a cross between a military training ground and an amusement park.
On June 14th, the Nyáregyháza motocross track will be transformed again this year: its hilly sections will be continuously watered, and temporary lakes, straw bale and tire shapes, and sections weighted with wire and camouflage netting will test the participants, who are guaranteed not to get away dry.

Participants in the event can compete in two distances. Brutal running Long distance (7 km) is the classic adventure, which awaits the starters with more than 20 imaginative obstacles bearing movie titles, from the “Titanic” moat through the “Entangled” section to the “Die for Your Life!” crawling obstacle, where you have to get under the wire mesh while clinging to the mud. The ground of the course is sandy and rocky, but the organizers make sure that it does not stay in this condition for long! Start: from 10:30.
THE Brutal running Short distance (2.3 km) is the “fun little brother” of the longer distance, with its 15 most exciting and at the same time most entertaining obstacles. This distance is the perfect choice for those who would like to try the “Brutal Experience” for the first time, including the younger age group and less trained adults. Start: from 9:00.
Participants can expect not only a unique finisher's medal and a good dose of mud, but also a shared adventure and lots of laughter.
